If you’re bringing your dog to Bungo in the Back L If you’re bringing your dog to Bungo in the Back Lanes this Saturday, you might get papped by @pawsandpicsuk asking for a wee photo. Rob will be wandering the lanes with his camera to document the dogs of Strathbungo. He might also snap a gallus cat or two. Utterly gorgeous photos of your pooch, grab a card from him and book yourself in for a photoshoot.

We all love Bungo in the Back Lanes and a lot of i We all love Bungo in the Back Lanes and a lot of info can be found on the Bungo Blog (link in bio)

There are 2 very important things you should know about:

There are 2 bars at Bungo in the Back Lanes, Simple Things Fermentation on Queen/Regent Park Lane and McMillan’s within a private garden on Moray Place at Marywood/Vennard Lane. These are fully licensed, with strict rules - no alcohol may be taken outside the bars and there are security staff present to ensure rules are followed. YOU MUST NOT SELL ALCOHOL from your own stall or garden if you do not have an Occasional Licence from Glasgow City Council. It is illegal and could land the event in trouble. If we spot you, we will ask you to stop. You must not drink alcohol in the lanes. If you are drinking or serving to friends, please keep it confined to your garden.

Any stall providing food needs to be aware of the Glasgow City Council for food handling and preparation. The food safety department of GCC has provided up-to-date guidance for stalls selling food, which you MUST read and follow if you plan to offer food at the event. Please see our FAQs on the Bungo Blog. If you want to contact them yourself about any aspect of this, please email them at foodsafety@glasgow.gov.uk
