This year’s panto at St Ninians Church (next to the Tramway) is Red Riding Hood. It is running from the 5th to 8th December (includes a matinee on Sat 8th at 2.30). Intended for kids, young and old.

Join us for some creative fun at Busy Bees Craft Studio this September Weekend! Choose from our wide range of ceramic, wood and fabric items to paint. Try your hand at decorating photo frames, treasure chests, gift boxes, egg cups, masks, wind chimes, cotton bags, umbrellas, wall clocks and lots more! Decorate your chosen project with paint, glitter, jewels, shells and paper embellishments; then take it home and display with pride!
Crafts for all ages, from 18 months to 118! No need to book, just drop in.

The Beckoning, a 45-minute film shot partly in Strathbungo, is being screened next month at the GFT.

Photos, thoughts and memories of this year’s Bungo in the Back Lanes are wanted for the upcoming newsletter. You can contact us on the contact form or email us at news@strathbungo.co.uk.
Bungo in the Back Lanes will be held on Saturday the 16th of June between 1pm and 4pm. Anyone is welcome to set up a stall and donations for the bottle stall and tombola are welcomed. Get in touch for more details.
Also, if you’re interested in setting up, taking down, selling raffle tickets, selling books, relieving a tired volunteer for an hour or anything else that you think would help, get in touch. It doesn’t have to be much, but every little helps make this the biggest and best event in Strathbungo.

The event will go ahead even in the event of rain. All the bars and cafes are covered, so you won’t get wet while taking refreshments.
The 2007 AGM will be held in the Queens Park Church Hall, 175 Queens Drive on Monday the 21st of May 2007, starting at 7.30pm. We will be discussing changes to the constitution required to achieve charitable status. Read the proposed changes here.
The spring coffee break will take place on the 21st of April at Queens Park Church Hall, 175 Queens Drive. The usual home baking will be on offer, along with books, crafts and general bric-a-brac. It all starts at 11am and finishes at 1pm. Come along after the farmers’ market for a cup of tea and a cake.
Donations are welcome and you are welcome to run your own stall. Get in touch if you want to help, make a donation or run a stall.
