Bungo at the Bells 2008 is being held at 53 Queen Square/18 Moray Place. Festivities begin at 11.45pm. Mulled wine and music are provided so come along and see in the new year with the rest of Strathbungo.

The Strathbungo Society Christmas party will be held on Monday the 15th of December, 8pm at Grianach Café at 38 Nithsdale Road. It is BYOB and a buffet will be provided. Come along and meet the committee, other volunteers that contribute to the Strathbungo Society and possibly your neighbours too.

Hi,
With all the heavy rain of the last few days I’ve had water dripping in my living room from above the window alcove.
Can anyone recommend a reputable tradesman?
Maybe you’ve had a similar problem? I’m on the first floor (marywood sqr/pollokshaws rd) so I think water is penetrating through the stonework above the lintel.
Any help/advice much appreciated.
Can anyone help ? while searching my wifes family history we found that her ancesters once lived & worked on gordons land Strathbungo in 1876 hasanyone any idea the location and what type of work they maybe they had?any infowould be appreciated
