The rich and ancient province of Burgundy has one of the most famous and finest vineyards in the world! Our wine courses aim to increase understanding and enjoyment of wine in a relaxed and friendly environment. The course will be followed by a blind wine tasting.

17th April 2008: French Conversation Night.

Do you like speaking French? This event is for you. Pop in and have fun with our French staff and others people in an authentique French atmosphere. Be careful, English won’t be understood!

Discover 6 wines from France and the new world. Look, smell, taste and learn in a relax ambiance!

5th May 2008: Wine Tasting: Alsace.

6.30 to 8.00. £15. Booking is compulsory.

Both dry and sweet white wines are produced in Alsace, and are often made from aromatic grapes varieties. Along with Austria and Germany, it produces some of the most noted dry Rieslings in the world, but on the export market, Alsace is perhaps even more noted for highly aromatic Gewürztraminer wines.

22nd May 2008: Cheese & Wine Dinner.

A regular events where you will be able to try 12 cheeses matching 6 wines! Soft and creamy cheese, hard and tasteful, strong like a blue, you will discover the complexity of the world of cheese!

Loire Valley wines tend to exhibit characteristic fruitiness with fresh, crisp flavours-especially in their youth. The Loire Valley has a long history of wine making dating back to the 1st century. In the High Middle Ages, the wines of the Loire Valley were the most esteemed wines in England and France, even more prized than those from Bordeaux.
