Wheelie bins sitting in the lanes

I’m not sure about all the other lanes, but certainly on the Pollokshields Road side of Marywood Square, the wheelie bins from the Pollokshields Road flats are constantly sitting out in the lane, and more recently a large pile of rubbish bags has been deposited that the council refuse to pick up.  We’ve since noticed some of this rubbish finding its way into our bins on Marywood Square – this wouldn’t be a particular problem if they placed their rubbish in the correct bins, but general rubbish is going into the brown waste bin etc, and the council refuse to pick this up too.  Maybe they’re short on bins because they keep getting left out in the lanes and wrecked by cars…who knows?  Any thoughts?  Nobody is taking responsibility for putting them back and it’s starting to look like a dump – I’m starting to get tired of tidying up after others!

These wheelie bins also make it very difficult to take the turn from the lane right into Marywood Square, as they are blocking the turning circle.

If you live in those tenements and are reading this, please can you move the bins into the back area of your flat. thank you!
