The newsletter is ready, but Andrew desperately needs more people to help deliver it. It’s a relatively easy job that only comes four times a year, so why not step up? When there’s someone for each street, it’s quick and easy. However, when a few people have to do all the work, it’s really hard on them. Lately, Andrew and Stephen have been going above and beyond, handling many of the streets themselves.

Here are the routes that need people for newsletter delivery:

  • March Street
  • Both sides of Nithsdale Road
  • Queen Square
  • Pollokshaws Road, Nithsdale Rd./Torrisdale to Allison, both sides
  • Pollokshaws Road, the park to Torrisdale, east side

It would also make a certain amount of sense to deliver to Nithsdale Drive and to Pollokshaws Road between Allison and Calder, if anyone is willing to take that on. Not everyone is able to read the newsletter or find out about community events online, and that’s why newsletter delivery is still important.

If you’ve got half an hour four times a year to help deliver the newsletter, then contact Andrew at adownie (at) doctors (dot) org (dot) uk. He’d love to hear from you!

Just as a reminder, the Strathbungo Society is an all-volunteer community organisation, not a business or even a social enterprise.
