Next Saturday sees the 6th Blossom Fest in Toryglen.

This year there’ll be music from (amongst others) Carlton Jug Band playing the best Glasgow Bluegrass found this side of the Clyde and Ayawara bringing their unique and high energy African drumming and dancing.

Delicious and nutritious healthy food will be available from the Great Grub team, using the best local and seasonal produce available.

There’ll be loads of activities to have a go at: Felting and spinning, making herbal remedies, green woodworking, bee keeping and circus skills. Try out a new skill and take something home with you that you’ve made yourself.

The fun starts at 11am on 27th April, and you’ll find the event amongst the bunting and marquees on Glenmore Avenue, Old Toryglen – near the post office and playpark. See you there!
