There will be 20th anniversary celebrations at Strathbungo Society’s AGM on Tuesday 27th October (7.30pm) at the Church of Scotland on Queens Drive.
Ironically, this celebration comes as a big question mark remains over whether the Society can continue to exist. Well-loved events such as Bungo in the Back Lanes and Bungo at the Bells are in serious danger of being axed, as the Society is in desperate need of new volunteers to keep its important work going. If anyone has any time to spare, it would be much appreciated. There is room for many peoples interests and skills, from web design and marketing to heavy lifting and tea making! This is a serious plea for help, so please do come along and show your support.
