Spring Fling and the announcement of the winners of this year’s children’s art competition is this Saturday 26th March. The event takes place from 10.30am-1.00pm in Queens Park Parish Church Hall, 170 Queens Drive. The winners of the competition will be announced and prizes presented at 11.30. Winning artworks will be displayed in local cafes for the next two weeks but all entries (237 of them!) will be displayed together in the Church Hall on the day.

We’d love extra helpers, either to put up the display the night before (7-9pm in the hall) or on the day itself and, if you’re a whiz with a whisk, please do donate a batch of home baking – just bring it in on the day or drop it off the night before.

Entry to the event is £1.50 for adults (this includes a drink and a cake) and 50p for children. There will also be crafts on display and art activities.
