Hi , I am the owner of HairGarden at 716 Pollokshaws Road and as you know I have given the Bungo in the lanes a donation for the prize raffle every year, can’t remember how many years but I have never missed one.
Once again this year I donated a £25.00 cut and blow dry voucher and was happy when someone made an appointment to use it. However, during the shampooing the lady said she had bought the voucher from the winner!
I think that a third party making money out of the prizes that businesses donate is plain and simply wrong. I reckon next year I will need to reconsider how I donate to the event.
Just thought I would let you know, I am happy to donate but I dont want it to become a money spinner for third parties.
Oh it was green 780 that won my donation.

I’m sorry this has happened. We hugely appreciate all the contributions from local businesses which allow the society to run the raffle and tombola.
We in no way condone the prizes being sold on like this, and your annoyance, which I understand, just goes to show how someone doing this can jeopardise future contributions to the society.
