Just a heads-up to all the cheesecake lovers out there: the Lovestruck Cheesecake Cafe opens officially tomorrow, Tuesday, September 2nd. They’re down the block from Shimla Pink’s, in the spot where the candy shop used to be.

There’ll be art photography on the walls, hand painted tables and locally roasted Dear Green coffee. I’ve tried the cheesecakes, and they are really nice. The creative flavours, like rosemary-lemon and spicy chocolate, are especially good. These are real, baked mini-cheescakes; no Philly cream cheese shortcuts. They’re a nice size, too. Not too big and not too small. Try them out and see what you think.
