After a lively discussion at the Strathbungo AGM on Monday, residents decided to take the traffic chaos in Strathbungo into their own hands.

In an attempt to stress that the lanes running parallel to Pollokshaws Rd and Moray Place are private property with no through access, several residents decided to block the lanes using bollards.

The hope is that local residents will know their way around Strathbungo well enough to avoid the bollards and rat runners will be put off by this simple deterrent.
