This year’s Bungo in the Back Lanes will be held on Saturday the 20th of June and starts at 1pm.

We’re currently looking for volunteers to help set up, take down and man a stall for an hour or so. Any amount of time is appreciated.

If you fancy running one of the following stalls then we’d be happy to hear from you:

• Alternative therapies/massage
• Fair trade goods
• Crafts
• Bands/musicians

We are also looking for donations for the tombola, bottle and lucky dip stalls. Anything will be accepted, including bottles of shampoo, tins of beans, unused fancy goods and so on. We’re also looking for home-baking. Get in touch if you have anything.

Anyone can set up outside their own back gate and do not need to contact the Strathbungo Society. However for further info or if you are from outwith the three lanes you can contact Joanna on 423 7756.

The May 2009 meeting will be on Monday the 18th of May, 7:30pm at Grianach Café at 38 Nithsdale Road.

The April 2009 meeting will be on Monday the 20th of April, 7:30pm at Grianach Café at 38 Nithsdale Road.

This year’s spring event will be taking place at Queens Park Parish Church on:

Saturday 21st March
10.30-1.30

We are looking for as much home-baking as possible. Please bring it along on the day, from 10.30.

The highlight of the event will be the prize-giving for our children’s art competition but there will also be:

• face-painting
• spring crafts and badge-making
• garden-themed tombola
• lucky lollies
• much more to be confirmed
• and, as ever, our fantastic home baking
