This year’s Bungo in the Back Lanes will be held on Saturday the 19th of June and starts at 1pm.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to help set up, take down and man a stall for an hour or so. Any amount of time is appreciated.

We are also looking for donations for the tombola, bottle and lucky dip stalls. Anything will be accepted, including bottles of shampoo, tins of beans, unused fancy goods and so on. We’re also looking for home-baking. Get in touch if you have anything.
Anyone can set up outside their own back gate and do not need to contact the Strathbungo Society. However for further info or if you are from outwith the three lanes you can contact Joanna on 423 7756.

The Brighter Bungo clean-up was well supported; thanks to all who came along and helped out. We collected a fair amount of rubbish thanks to your efforts.
A clean-up of the streets of Strathbungo has been organised by Clean Glasgow and Brighter Bungo for Wednesday the 21st April at 6pm. Please meet at 22 Queen Square. Come along if you can and please encourage your friends and neighbours to join us too.
All equipment for the clean up will be provided. Looking forward to seeing you then.

The Alexander Thomson Society is hosting a talk on the history and current restoration of 1 Moray Place, on Wednesday 31 March, at 7.30pm in the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre in the Glasgow School of Art (basement level). Doors open at 7.00pm, and refreshments are available.
