At last – goodbye to rat running! Although I’m not too keen on the yellow hash markings…still, you can’t have it all.
Bollards to the rat-runners.
Don’t worry, Laura. If the double yellow lines painted on the cobbles at the lane ends are anything to go by, it will all flake off very soon.
My worry now is that more drivers will rat run down the whole lane increasing traffic in the back lanes.
i think the bollards are a complete waste of money and are creating more problems than its worth. rat running was never a huge problem and as a resident on the street it has never effected my self or other that i know. i think we need to be looking at the other end of the lane from where the picture was taken and have the fencing removed and full access to those houses on mory place. surely there is some fire safety issues too.
